In the run up to Mother’s Day, the Victorian Chop House Company celebrates the hard-working mums that make up the Chop House team, recognising their most important job of all is being a mum.
This Mothering Sunday, families can tuck into a selection of best of British Sunday specials including Slow Roast Rump of Beef, Half a roast of Goosnargh chicken, Roast Belly Pork or Garlic & Rosemary Roast Shoulder of Lamb.
All Sunday dishes are served alongside Chop Houses famous Yorkshire puddings, dripping roast potatoes, spring greens, braised red cabbage, honey roast roots and thick gravy.
Mums will receive a dessert on the house, including brand new for Spring Burnt Lemon Cambridge Cream and Caramel Chocolate Parfait.
Bar: Sunday – 12.00pm – 10.00pm

Meet the Chop House Mum’s
Selina and her daughter Georgie
Selina Lee who began her journey at Mr Thomas’s Chop House in 2005 is one of the longest standing members of the Chop House team. General Manager, Selina has served up more meals than most mums in her 14 years at the Chop House!
Mr Thomas’s, which has recently been renamed Mrs Sarah’s to commemorate a remarkable woman in history, has stood in St Ann’s Square since 1870 and Selina and the team are committed to continuing the journey of supplying fine food, fine wines, great beer and great company to the people of Manchester.
Jemma Carr has worked at the Victorian Chop House Company for nearly 6 years. Jemma is the proud mum of two lovely little girls, Lizzie and Lila.
Looking after all things Victorian Chop House Company by day and the girls at night Jemma is definitely someone to toast this Mother’s Day.
Jemma and the girls will also be celebrating Grandma Viv, who may be treated to a bowl of Mr Lowry’s rice pudding, something she looks forward to when she visits the Chop Houses. With Lizzie and Lila favouring the Chop House’s Roast Dinner not forgetting the extra Yorkshire pudding for Lila!
